Who this policy covers

This policy applies to information collected through bellevueplumberpro.com (this website), the dispatch phone line published on this site, and any email correspondence sent to dispatch@bellevueplumberpro.com. It does not cover information collected directly by the independently licensed plumbing contractor dispatched to your home — they operate under their own privacy practices and you can request those from them directly before work begins.

What we collect

The categories of information we collect, and where each comes from:

  • Call audio, caller phone number, call duration, and call routing data. Calls placed to (425) 800-0974 are routed and tracked through a third-party call-tracking and dispatch partner. The partner and Bellevue Plumber Pro both receive call metadata; calls may be recorded for quality assurance and dispatch routing.
  • Contact details you provide. When you email dispatch@bellevueplumberpro.com or share information with a dispatched plumber, that information (name, address, scope of work) is held by us and the contractor for the purpose of completing the job.
  • Website analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors find and use the site. GA4 collects IP address (truncated), device type, browser, referring site, pages viewed, and time on page. We do not associate GA4 data with your name or phone number.
  • Session-recording and heatmap analytics. This site uses Microsoft Clarity to capture anonymized interaction patterns — clicks, scrolls, mouse paths, and page-by-page navigation — so we can identify usability problems and improve the dispatch funnel. Clarity automatically masks form inputs (names, emails, phone numbers typed into forms are obscured in recordings), truncates IP addresses, and does not capture passwords or payment information. We use Clarity to understand where visitors get stuck, not to identify individual people.
  • Standard server logs. The web host records IP address, request URL, response status, and timestamp for every page request. Logs are retained for 30 days for security and performance investigation.
  • Cookies. The GA4 cookie set (_ga, _gid, _gat) and the Microsoft Clarity cookie set (_clck, _clsk) are the only cookies this site sets. Both are first-party analytics cookies. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no social-media sharing pixels.

How we use the information

  • To connect you with a licensed plumber. Call data and any details you provide are used to dispatch the nearest available independently licensed Washington State plumbing contractor.
  • To improve service quality. Aggregated call duration, response time, and customer-feedback data inform dispatch routing and contractor performance review.
  • To measure marketing performance. Aggregated GA4 data shows which pages and search terms drive dispatch calls. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or retarget visitors.
  • To respond to your questions. Emails sent to dispatch@bellevueplumberpro.com are read and replied to by our dispatch team.

Who we share it with

We share information in four limited contexts:

  • The dispatched contractor. Your name, address, phone number, and the scope of work are shared with the independently licensed plumber dispatched to your home. The contractor is required to use this information only to perform the work you requested.
  • Our call-tracking and dispatch partner. A third-party call-tracking service operates the network that powers the (425) 800-0974 dispatch line. The partner holds call metadata and may share aggregated metrics with us. Its privacy practices are governed by its own privacy policy, which we can identify on request emailed to dispatch@bellevueplumberpro.com.
  • Google (analytics provider). GA4 data is processed by Google under its standard data-processing terms. We have no contractual or technical means to share GA4 data with any other party.
  • Microsoft (session-recording analytics provider). Clarity data is processed by Microsoft under its Online Services Terms and Clarity-specific data terms (clarity.microsoft.com/privacy). Microsoft acts as our data processor and does not share or sell Clarity data to third parties. Clarity recordings are typically retained by Microsoft for up to 13 months by default.
  • Legal compliance. If a subpoena, court order, or law-enforcement request legally compels disclosure, we will comply with the minimum required. We will notify you in advance unless legally prohibited from doing so.

We do not sell personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to other home-services lead-gen networks. The marketplace model we operate under is paid by the contractors who receive dispatches, not by the visitors who place calls.

Your rights under Washington and California law

Washington residents have rights under the Washington My Health My Data Act and consumer-data protection statutes; California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA. Other states have analogous protections. The rights below are extended to all visitors regardless of residency:

  • The right to know. You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, including the sources, purposes, and parties we shared it with in the preceding 12 months.
  • The right to delete. You can request deletion of information we hold about you. Exceptions apply for records we are legally required to retain (e.g., financial records, records subject to active legal hold).
  • The right to correct. You can request correction of inaccurate information we hold about you.
  • The right to opt out of certain data uses. You can opt out of GA4 analytics on this site by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-Out browser add-on. You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity by visiting clarity.microsoft.com/opt-out, or by enabling the “Do Not Track” (DNT) header in your browser — Clarity honors DNT and will not record sessions when it is set. We do not sell personal information, so the right to opt out of sale is automatically honored.
  • The right to non-discrimination. Exercising any of the above rights does not change the service or pricing you receive from any contractor dispatched through this site.

To exercise any of these rights, email dispatch@bellevueplumberpro.com from the address associated with your contact, or call (425) 800-0974 and ask for the privacy team. We will respond within 45 days as required by applicable law. If you call about a deletion request, we may need to verify your identity by confirming the address and date of a prior service call before processing.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, email dispatch@bellevueplumberpro.com and we will delete it promptly.

How long we keep information

  • Call records and dispatch details: 24 months from the date of the call, then anonymized for aggregate reporting.
  • Email correspondence: 24 months from the date of the last message, then deleted.
  • Web server logs: 30 days.
  • Google Analytics 4 event data: 14 months (the GA4 default retention setting we apply at the property level).
  • Financial and tax records associated with completed jobs: retained per Washington State business-records statutes (typically 7 years).

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Email correspondence is held in Google Workspace (or comparable provider) with two-factor authentication required for all dispatch-team accounts. Call recordings, when produced, are stored by our call-tracking partner and accessed via an authenticated dashboard only. We do not store payment card data; if you pay a contractor on-site, that transaction is between you and the contractor and is not visible to us.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our information practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent substantive change. For material changes, we will also post a notice on the homepage for 30 days. Continued use of the site after a posted change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
