What you'd be doing

  • Diagnose and repair burst pipes, slab leaks, drain blockages, and water heater failures across residential properties in Bellevue and the Eastside
  • Install and service tankless, conventional, and heat-pump water heaters per Washington State energy code
  • Run sewer camera inspections and hydro-jetting on residential laterals — including the cedar-root intrusion pattern common in Bridle Trails and older Eastside neighborhoods
  • Provide written, flat-rate quotes before any work; document the job with photos
  • Pull City of Bellevue plumbing permits and coordinate L&I inspections for code-required work
  • Carry rotating 24/7 emergency dispatch coverage (approximately one week in four)

What you bring

  • Washington State journeyman plumber license (PL01 or PL02) in good standing
  • 5+ years residential plumbing field experience
  • Driver's license, clean MVR, ability to lift 50 lb regularly
  • Service van or daily access to one; standard hand tools (specialty tools provided)
  • Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoor service trenches

Skills we're looking for

  • Residential plumbing diagnostics
  • PEX, copper, and CPVC supply line work
  • Cast iron and ABS drain line repair
  • Tankless and heat-pump water heater installation
  • Hydro-jetting and sewer camera operation
  • Backflow prevention assembly testing (BAT certification a plus)

Compensation and benefits

  • Hourly rate $38–55 depending on experience and certifications
  • Time-and-a-half after-hours premium (5pm–8am weekdays, weekends, holidays)

Schedule

Full-time, with rotating on-call 24/7 emergency dispatch (~1 week in 4)

  • Downtown Bellevue plumber High-rises, condos, and townhomes. We do a lot of stacked-flat sewer work and high-rise riser servicing down here.
  • Renton plumber From 1940s mill-town housing in the original townsite to modern Talbot Hill and Highlands construction. The widest housing-era range on the south Eastside.
  • Redmond plumber Ten distinct neighborhoods spanning 1950s annexations on Education Hill through 2010s+ tech-driven new construction. Mid-90s polybutylene replacements are increasingly common.
  • Kirkland plumber From 1860s Houghton settler-era housing through 1988 South Juanita/Rose Hill annexation tract construction to modern lakefront luxury. Wide repair pattern range.
  • Mercer Island plumber 1880s East Seattle settler homes through 1960s-70s Mercer Island Estates subdivisions to modern waterfront estates. Premier-market plumbing with the highest property values on the Eastside.
